Whatever standard of golf you play, Ballards Gore Golf Course is sure to provide you with a rewarding challenge to your game.

Situated in 112 acres of mature, rolling countryside our 18 Hole, 6785 Yard, Par 73 Championship length course makes excellent use of the landscape and its numerous natural and man-made hazards.

Society/Corporate golf days are available throughout the year, Monday - Sunday (excluding Bank Holidays).  You may decide on a society package or, if you prefer, tailor make your day to your own requirements.  The choice is yours!

Ballards Gore Golf Club welcomes visitors who are competent golfers.  We expect that all your players can play to a reasonable standard and will comply with the etiquette of golf.  The Club, for its part, will make every effort to present the course in a condition that is consistent with our reputation.  Occasionally, there may be circumstances, such as adverse weather or greenkeeping priorities, that force some variation on the condition of the course, any such occasions will be kept to an absolute minimum.

Slow Play will detract from the day's enjoyment for all players.  Rounds of over four hours are unacceptable.  It is the Organiser's responsibility to choose formats that encourage continuous play.  Our experience shows that Stableford competitions are much more enjoyable than Stroke Play, and for Societies playing 27 holes, it is recommended that the morning round be made up of a 9 hole competition, with an 18 hole competition played in the afternoon. This helps us to maintain a good rapport between members and societies, ensuring you get most from your golf day. Our course is monitored by a course marshall, should anyone be observed whose play or conduct is below our acceptable level, they will be required to leave the course and part of their green fee refunded.

Advertising/Signs displays and posters may not be erected, unless prior authorisation is approved by the Club.

Damage

The Client, in accepting these Terms and Conditions assumes responsibility for any damage caused by him or any member of his party, in any part of the Clubhouse or grounds.

Cancellations

Ballards Gore Golf Club reserves the right to cancel or amend any reservations but will only do so in extreme circumstances. If you decide to cancel your booking due to inclement weather, low numbers, or any other reason, any deposit paid will be forfeited.

Deposits

We require a non-refundable deposit of £100.  The booking will not be confirmed until the deposit is received.

Minimum Numbers

We impose a minimum number of 8 players to make up a society, if your number drops below this figure, you will still be charged for 8, less your deposit paid.  Once you have confirmed your numbers 48 hours before the date of the event, you will be charged for the confirmed number, unless your numbers increase on the day.

Will be arranged via the office.

Trolley/Buggy Hire

Should any of your members require a trolley or buggy on the day, they will need to be booked direct with our Pro Shop on 01702 258924.
